Alistair has been working in private practice since 1994. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1997, specialising in all areas of family law, in particular divorces, separation, financial arrangements and children issues.

Alistair is also Head of the Planning Protection and Probate Team, specialising in both Family litigation and Private Client matters.

Jodie gained her law degree at Derby University, and studied the Legal Practice Course at Staffordshire University, before winning a training contract with Peter G Fox and Co in Burton on Trent. She qualified as a solicitor in November 2007, and joins Lawson-West from Now Legal where she was a Wills and Probate Solicitor. She explained: “I decided to specialise in Wills and Probate whilst doing my degree, because I think it’s important for people to be prepared for the inevitable, and I feel I am genuinely helping them. I am now looking forward to working with the established team at Lawson-West, and the clients, to continue to deliver a fantastic service.”

When not at work, Jodie loves music, going to concerts and festivals. She travels the UK extensively, meeting up with friends she has met mainly through music, notably the Download festival and its internet forums. Jodie also enjoys movies, reading and animals, having two pet dogs and a rabbit.

Nadia joined Lawson-West in June 2007 as a Wills Paralegal, having gained her degree in Business Management and Law at Derby University in 2005, and her Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University in 2007. Nadia became a Trainee Solicitor in November 2007.
